Minister of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation Inaugurates New Administration Building in Pursat Province

PURSAT: A new administrative building of the Department of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation was inaugurated in Pursat Province on Monday afternoon, by the Minister of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation, Cham Prasidh. The new building is 9.5 meters wide and 15 meters long, has 2 floors, 10 rooms (9 offices, 1 meeting room) and 4 bathrooms.

This new building was constructed after the Governor of Pursat Province, Cheav Tay, informed the Government about the general situation and development of infrastructure in the province, under the honorable leadership of Prime Minister Hun Sen.

Minister Cham Prasidh stated that the new administration building represents an invaluable bond and a motivation for the civil servants of the Department of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation of Pursat Province to strive to fulfill their role as public service providers to the best of their ability.

He added that he would like to advise all civil servants to work hard to save water, electricity and keep the new building clean for long-term use, and to also cooperate in leading the management of industry, science, technology and innovation in the province.

The date for the inauguration ceremony of the new administrative building had been postponed three times due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but after Prime Minister Hun Sen reopened the country, the inauguration ceremony could finally take place.

Earlier in the day, Minister Cham Prasidh had also attended the inauguration of the new water supply expansion project in Pursat province, which is being implemented with aid from the Japanese government.

The Minister also took the time to extend his congratulations to Governor Cheav Tay, who had been appointed by the King as Governor of Pursat Province two months ago.
